Why DSI?

"I choose Delta Sigma Iota because of the incalculable opportunities I foresaw that came with being part of a fraternity.  I had always wanted to become an active leader in the community, by helping out with service events and interacting with other people.  Delta Sigma Iota appeared as though it could not only offer me exactly that, but also bring something extra to the table.  It could help me assimilate into a group of other individuals who felt the same way and had a similar passion.  Delta Sigma Iota could teach me the real sense of "brotherhood" in a way like nothing else could.  For me, it was just the perfect fit."

What Have you Gained from Delta Sigma Iota?

"Coming into college, what I viewed as "growth" for myself seemed almost as though it beyond the bounds of possibility.  But when I became part of Delta Sigma Iota, I learned that "growth" was not only about exposing ones flaws, as I had previously conceived it to be, but also about bolstering what one already perceives as strong.  My once enduring thoughts of being academically gifted and possessing leadership qualities, turned into visionary thoughts of not procrastinating and becoming a leader.  Delta Sigma Iota did not change who I am as an individual.  It just made me more complete."
